What Does a Text Sorter Do?

Sort Options Explained

Case-sensitive: When ON, uppercase and lowercase are treated differently. When OFF, "Apple" and "apple" sort together based on alphabetical position ignoring case.

Remove empty lines: Strips blank lines before the sort happens.
Natural numeric sort: Very important for lines like file1.txt, file2.txt, file10.txt, file20.txt. Without this, "file10" would come before "file2" alphabetically. With natural sort, "file10" correctly comes after "file9".
Remove duplicates: Keeps only unique lines (useful when combining with the deduplication feature on your other tool).
Header line stays first: If you have a header row (like a column name), enabling this keeps it at the top instead of sorting it into the list.
